Data Modeler

About the role

The Data Modeler designs, develops, and maintains logical and physical data models that support business applications and analytics. This role translates high‑level data architecture strategy into detailed blueprints, ensuring data structures are efficient, consistent, and performance‑optimized.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement dimensional, relational, Data Vault, and NoSQL data models for operational and analytical use cases.
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and integrity of data models across the organization.
• Enhance data infrastructure, automate processes, and ensure robust, scalable data pipelines for real‑time and batch processing.
• Identify data discrepancies, develop data metrics, and continuously refine models for performance and adaptability.
• Stay current with emerging data‑modeling techniques and integrate cutting‑edge tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and BI teams to translate requirements into effective data solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data modeling and data engineering.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, or AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate.
