Demand Planning Specialist

About the role

The Demand Planning Specialist is responsible for driving accurate forecasting, inventory governance, and working capital optimization across all business units. This role supports the Group’s Strategic Inventory Governance framework by improving demand visibility, enforcing disciplined ordering practices, and aligning systems and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the monthly demand planning cycle for all Group Business Units.
• Consolidate, validate, and analyze demand forecasts, incorporating customer demand, fleet data, campaigns, and major events.
• Identify forecast gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Drive disciplined ordering practices using CAT tools and internal planning systems, monitoring adherence to planning parameters.
• Review and approve add‑to‑stock, rebuild, and non‑stock requests in line with governance policies.
• Monitor backorder levels, identify root causes, and propose sustainable solutions.
• Analyze working capital components such as inventory allocations, WIP, protected parts, and stock aging.
• Assess surplus inventory, returns, inter‑territorial transfers, and write‑offs, recommending actions to minimize financial impact.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical reports in Excel and Power BI, tracking KPIs related to forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and working capital.
• Collaborate closely with supply chain, operations, finance, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on planning assumptions and execution priorities.
