About the role
The Faculty of Arts & Design at Al‑Ryada University seeks Demonstrators / Teaching Assistants to support learning in a range of design specialisations. Successful candidates will join an academic team dedicated to delivering high‑quality practical and theoretical instruction.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic support to undergraduate and graduate students in the assigned specialisation.
- Assist lecturers in planning and delivering practical sessions, labs, and studio work.
- Conduct demonstrations and supervise hands‑on projects to reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Participate in the preparation of teaching materials, reports and research documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts (or equivalent) in the relevant specialisation.
- Graduation grade “Very Good” or higher with a CGPA of at least 3.7.
- Specialisations include Interior Architecture, Graphic Design, Interior Design & Furniture, Textile Printing/Dyeing/Finishing, Printing/Publishing/Packaging, Advertising, Fashion Design.
Required skills
- Strong command of technical concepts and theories related to the chosen design discipline.
- Practical ability to conduct laboratory or studio demonstrations.
- Technical writing proficiency for preparing reports and research documents.
