Development Economist (AI Training)

About the role

We're looking for development economists to help shape how AI understands global economics. Your expertise in growth, inequality, and international development will directly influence the accuracy and depth of next‑generation AI systems — work that matters at a global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI‑generated development economics content for accuracy and contextual depth.
• Assess AI reasoning on topics such as economic growth, poverty, inequality, and global development.
• Identify gaps, errors, or oversimplifications in economic arguments and provide structured, expert feedback.
• Validate economic scenarios and case studies using real‑world or academic experience.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in development economics through teaching, research, or applied work.
• Strong grasp of global economic issues, development theory, and data interpretation.
• Ability to critically evaluate written economic reasoning with clarity and precision.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
