DevOps Specialist

About the role

Join Vodafone’s global mission to deliver secure, cloud‑native software at speed. As a DevOps Specialist you will design, automate and operate CI/CD toolchains and delivery platforms that enable faster, reliable releases across multiple product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, and deployment scripts for supported products.
• Automate infrastructure, configuration and environment provisioning using approved tools and reusable templates.
• Collaborate with software engineering, QA, operations and security teams to troubleshoot pipeline issues and improve delivery reliability.
• Support monitoring, logging and operational troubleshooting using ElasticSearch, Kibana and related observability solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation for pipelines, deployment procedures, configuration scripts and runbooks.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on DevOps experience in software delivery or platform engineering.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience working in Agile teams and promoting self‑service and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with public and private cloud IaaS/PaaS models (OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).

• Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
• Monitoring & observability: ElasticSearch, Kibana.
• Operating systems: Linux/Unix.
• Version control and issue tracking: Git, Jira.
• Basic programming/scripting: Java, PHP, Python, Shell.
