DevOps Technical Lead

About the role

The DevOps Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing DevOps operations across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, system stability and delivery excellence. This senior position provides technical and operational oversight, drives continuous improvement and acts as the primary escalation point for complex incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise DevOps Leads and Engineers to ensure consistent execution of DevOps practices.
• Validate DevOps roadmaps, plans and deliverables.
• Oversee CI/CD pipeline execution, deployment activities and infrastructure operations for reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain system availability, performance and stability across production and non‑production environments.
• Manage DevOps infrastructure, including servers, storage and cloud platforms, and ensure proper use of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker and CI/CD tools.
• Drive automation initiatives, approve automation strategies for build, release, deployment and configuration management.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security and Infrastructure teams to align DevOps activities with business needs.
• Oversee monitoring, alerting and incident‑response frameworks, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain support and ensure solutions meet DevOps standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure or Platform Engineering roles.
• Proven experience leading DevOps teams and managing large‑scale platform initiatives.
