Director of Educational Strategy (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior leader to own and scale its proven academic model that delivers twice the learning in just two hours per day. The Director of Educational Strategy will translate learning‑science research into actionable curriculum frameworks, drive execution across diverse school environments, and serve as the public face of the movement.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn scientific insights into concrete guidance for curriculum, motivation architecture, and application development.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and results‑driven performance.
• Synthesize observations, data, and interviews into ecosystem reviews that pinpoint high‑impact barriers and recommend targeted interventions.
• Maintain strategic alignment through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone oversight focused on student outcomes.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile events, keynote presentations, and meetings with ministries of education to influence global schooling practices.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership roles, with direct responsibility for managing staff.
• Proven track record of building and scaling evidence‑based learning systems that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong ability to coach high‑performing teams and hold them accountable for results.
