Director of Learning & Development

About the role

Four Seasons Resort Sharm El Sheikh is seeking a Director of Learning & Development to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programmes across the property. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, you will shape the employee experience by ensuring world‑class standards are embedded through learning.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and facilitate core hotel training programmes such as Embark orientation, service foundations, leadership behaviours, departmental standards, compliance and Leadership Development courses.
• Recruit, coach, and manage a team of internal trainers, ensuring they are equipped to teach job‑role techniques aligned with Four Seasons standards.
• Inspire and train hotel leaders to become effective coaches for their teams, supporting the overall L&D mission.
• Monitor service quality by analysing LQA, Forbes and other third‑party evaluation results and translate findings into learning interventions.
• Identify operational challenges where learning can add value and collaborate with operations to implement solutions.
• Enforce Four Seasons standards through testing, assessments and ongoing training.
• Plan and execute property‑wide change initiatives, service improvement projects and large‑scale learning programmes.
• Select and manage external training vendors as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in learning and development within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong ability to motivate and coach both staff and senior leaders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to Four Seasons’ culture of service excellence.
