District Manager - Alexandria

About the role

Responsible for managing and leading the sales operations within a designated district. The role oversees a team of Medical Representatives, ensures sales targets are met, executes strategies to increase market share, and builds strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives and market‑share growth within budget and timelines through effective management of Medical Representatives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and develop the sales team via field visits.
• Prioritize tasks, schedule activities, and set clear goals to enhance team productivity.
• Manage territory through market segmentation and allocate resources to maximize coverage.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and team results.
• Manage the district budget, including sales expenses and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Veterinary Medicine or a related scientific field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, including managerial or supervisory responsibilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of the therapeutic area relevant to the company’s products.
