Early Years Classroom Teacher

About the role

Repton Cairo is seeking an Early Years Classroom Teacher to join its primary team. The successful candidate will share responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing the curriculum for early years pupils, working closely with the Principal and senior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and teach assigned subjects, ensuring clear objectives and progression.
• Design challenging tasks, set clear targets and differentiate for special educational needs or more able pupils.
• Maintain structured, paced lessons that motivate and challenge learners.
• Use a variety of teaching methods, effective questioning and Assessment for Learning.
• Select appropriate resources, including library and ICT tools, to develop study skills.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback and reports to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, maintain open communication with parents and contribute to curriculum development.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and adhere to the school’s marking and feedback policy.
