Economics & Business Teacher (Full‑time, Cairo)

About the role

The school is seeking a full‑time Economics and Business Teacher to join its Cairo campus. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons to middle and high school students, fostering both academic understanding and real‑world application of economic and business concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Economics and Business lessons that meet the school’s curriculum standards.
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance and student progress.
• Design differentiated learning activities to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Integrate current events, case studies and practical examples into classroom instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues and academic leadership on curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with families or guardians regarding student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter knowledge in Economics and Business.
• Proven teaching experience at the middle or high school level, preferably in an international or bilingual environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff and families.
• Commitment to inclusive, learner‑centered education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Education or a related field; teaching certification is a plus.
