Electrical Design Engineer – Low Voltage

About the role

The Electrical Design Engineer – Low Voltage will support the creation and maintenance of engineering designs, drawings, and material documentation for assigned projects. Working closely with production, senior engineers and procurement, the role ensures timely, accurate and technically compliant project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain job files according to department procedures.
• Review contractual documents and customer specifications from launch meetings.
• Identify technical requirements and project specifications, coordinating schedules with senior engineers.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings using approved electrical CAD/design software, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with CAD operators for panel layouts, one‑line diagrams, civil guides and schematic drawings.
• Prepare and review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support material issuance with planning and procurement teams.
• Release approved drawings to production, provide technical clarification during manufacturing and assembly, and update as‑built documentation.
• Follow safety procedures, engineering standards and company policies, and report deviations and progress.
• Support problem‑solving, quality control and continuous process improvements.
