Electrical Design Engineer – Low Voltage

About the role

The Electrical Design Engineer – Low Voltage will prepare and support engineering designs, drawings, and material documentation for assigned projects. The role works closely with production, planning and procurement teams to ensure timely, accurate and technically compliant project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain job files, review contractual documents and customer specifications.
• Develop and update engineering drawings using approved design software, ensuring compliance with standard formats, symbols and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with CAD operators to produce panel layouts, one‑line diagrams, civil guides and schematic drawings.
• Prepare and review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support material issuance in collaboration with planning and procurement.
• Release approved drawings to production, provide technical clarification during manufacturing and resolve production‑related technical issues.
• Maintain safety, quality and compliance standards throughout all engineering activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD and engineering drawing software.
• Experience preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Knowledge of panel layout, one‑line diagram and schematic drawing standards.
