Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead maintenance activities for our production facilities in 6th of October City, Egypt. The role focuses on ensuring reliable electrical systems, supporting new equipment installations, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive electrical maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in production equipment and utilities.
• Maintain electrical panels, motors, generators, transformers, VFDs, and PLC systems.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of backup power systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and start‑up of new equipment.
• Monitor electrical spare parts inventory and prepare technical specifications for purchases.
• Coordinate with Production, Farms, and Procurement to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Prepare maintenance reports and supervise electrical technicians.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in feed manufacturing, poultry, food processing, or similar industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, industrial control systems, and electrical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and time‑management skills.
