Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing & Maintenance

About the role

Etalex Factory is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its manufacturing and maintenance team in Cairo. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running smoothly, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on production machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control panels, motors, sensors, drives and automation systems.
• Diagnose recurring breakdowns and implement long‑term solutions.
• Support machine installations, upgrades and modifications.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimise downtime and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5‑7 years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• PLC systems and programming.
• Industrial automation equipment.
• Electrical control circuits.
• Motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with servo systems.
