Electrical Engineer – Power & Lighting Shop Drawings

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our new back‑office team in Cairo. You will support a leading Saudi real‑estate developer by delivering high‑quality electrical shop drawings for a range of residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical shop drawings for power, lighting, low‑current and grounding systems.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural and mechanical disciplines.
• Review technical documents, raise RFIs and submit material submittals.
• Update drawings based on consultant comments and provide technical support to site teams.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications and GCC standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience producing electrical shop drawings.
• Background in contracting with experience on GCC projects.
• Strong command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP (preferred).
