Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a full-time Electrical Maintenance Engineer for its PET bottling production line in the 6th October City industrial zone. The engineer keeps machinery and equipment running smoothly to optimise production, handles electrical maintenance across the sites and supervises the electrical maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle electrical maintenance activities across the sites and supervise the electrical maintenance team.
• Maintain and follow the PET bottling production lines (injection, blowing, filling, packaging).
• Monitor machine history and scorecards and update the maintenance strategy and master plan accordingly.
• Be accountable for site assets and for corrective, preventive and autonomous maintenance activities.
• Analyse equipment and production lines and set plans for reliability improvement.
• Implement maintenance plans, strategies, procedures and methods, and prepare studies and purchasing requests.
• Develop root cause analyses for major breakdowns and prepare electrical spare parts for all machines at the right time.
• Ensure 100% closure of safety and quality issues across production facilities and utilities.
• Make reports on maintenance operations and contribute to projects in the assigned area.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• More than 2 years of relevant maintenance experience, including the same position.
• FMCG bottling background controlled by PLC is a must.
• Very good command of English (speaking, reading and writing).
• Cairo residence near 6th October City is preferred.

Required skills

• Preventive maintenance and electrical maintenance.

• Knowledge of drives, motors and automation systems.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, communication, planning, organisation and discipline.
