Electrical Site Engineer – Cairo

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to supervise and coordinate all electrical works on a construction site in Cairo. The role ensures that installations are carried out on time, meet design specifications and comply with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, grounding and other electrical systems.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and project documents to guarantee correct implementation.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other disciplines (civil, mechanical) to avoid conflicts.
• Monitor daily site activities, track progress against the schedule and prepare progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with quality and safety regulations.
• Verify material quantities, prepare requisitions and maintain accurate site records.
• Document test results, as‑built drawings and hand over completed works to the consultant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in site execution of electrical works on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and international standards (NEC, IEC).
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.

Required skills

• MS Office
• Electrical design software such as ETAP (Dialux is a plus)
• Understanding of NEC and IEC standards
