Electrical Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of MEP activities on large‑scale construction projects. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, and maintaining communication with clients and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage project scope, execution strategy and site activities in line with contractual requirements.
• Lead and supervise site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and internal support teams.
• Monitor performance against schedules, budgets, quality standards and milestones, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Identify risks, technical challenges and operational obstacles, and devise practical mitigation solutions.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants and senior management regarding progress and decisions.
• Oversee daily execution of all MEP activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Technical Office, Planning, Contracts, Commercial, Finance, HSE and Quality departments to secure timely support.
• Ensure successful inspection, testing, commissioning and handover of completed works.
• Review and approve subcontractor progress, payment certificates, material requests and contract deliverables.
• Prepare and submit accurate progress reports, forecasts and performance updates to the Project Manager.
• Monitor resource utilization, manpower productivity, equipment and material consumption for cost control.
• Coordinate civil, architectural, electrical and mechanical activities to ensure proper sequencing and integration.
• Participate in planning meetings, technical reviews and client progress meetings, providing recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in construction and MEP projects with extensive site management responsibilities.
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing mega projects with multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methodologies, testing, commissioning and project close‑out.
• Experience managing civil, architectural, electrical and mechanical project interfaces.
• Understanding of contract administration, scheduling, cost control, risk and quality management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and consultants.
