Elementary Math Teacher

About the role

The Elementary Math Teacher will deliver engaging mathematics lessons to primary‑grade students, following the school’s curriculum and international standards. This full‑time, on‑site position is based at Al Bashaer International School in Qesm El Maadi.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and implement effective mathematics lessons for elementary learners.
• Assess student progress and provide individualized support as needed.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and participate in staff meetings.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student learning and achievement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of elementary‑level mathematics and mathematics education.
• Qualified teacher status with proven classroom experience in primary education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Effective classroom‑management skills and a student‑centered approach.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork.
