About the role
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement real‑time applications on application processors and microcontrollers using C/C++. The role involves close collaboration with hardware, DSP and test teams to bring new products to market.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop real‑time embedded software in C/C++ for processors and microcontrollers.
- Produce and maintain requirements, design documents, test plans and execute testing.
- Participate in peer reviews, debug complex issues, and improve development processes.
- Collaborate with electrical engineering teams for schematic reviews and new product design.
Required profile
- 3+ years of professional experience in embedded C/C++ development.
- Hands‑on experience with QNX, embedded Linux, FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
- Proven work on driver development for SPI, I2C, UART and other communication protocols.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with EE, DSP, system test and QA teams.
Required skills
- C and C++ programming.
- QNX, embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, Zephyr.
- SPI, I2C, UART driver development.
- ARM and Tensilica architectures.
- Operating system and RTOS fundamentals.
- Network programming and AUTOSAR (nice‑to‑have).
