Engineering Manager – Team Monetisation

About the role

Pet Media Group (PMG) is scaling its Monetisation team and needs an Engineering Manager to lead a group of full‑stack engineers. This hands‑on leadership position combines people management with technical ownership of pricing, checkout, payment processing, subscriptions, escrow, and identity verification services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of engineers through regular 1:1s, career development plans and hiring.
• Own delivery and technical direction for the Monetisation domain, ensuring high‑quality releases.
• Collaborate with product owners and senior engineering leadership to set priorities, remove blockers and align roadmap with revenue goals.
• Maintain and evolve core services such as pricing engines, payment gateways, subscription management, escrow and KYC/KYB flows.
• Promote the use of AI, LLMs and modern tooling to improve development efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full‑stack engineering teams in a fast‑moving product environment.
• Strong hands‑on coding background with the ability to make sound technical decisions alongside the team.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of fostering collaboration across product and engineering.
• Passion for leveraging AI tools to enhance team productivity.
