English Instructor – Cairo (Dokki/Maadi/Nasr City)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated English Instructor to deliver high‑quality language instruction to students in the Dokki, Maadi and Nasr City areas of Cairo. The role involves planning engaging lessons, fostering a supportive classroom environment, and helping learners develop confidence in reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons that align with curriculum objectives.
• Teach reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and usage.
• Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, presentations and exams.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to improve language proficiency.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and proficiency levels.
• Develop and utilise appropriate teaching materials and technology.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and performance.
• Promote critical thinking, communication and confidence in English usage.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents (when applicable) and school administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or certification (e.g., teaching license, diploma in education).
• Native or near‑native English proficiency; relevant certifications such as IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge English are a plus.
• Prior teaching experience in schools, colleges, universities or language institutes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of modern teaching methods and classroom management techniques.
• Ability to prepare lesson plans, assessments and instructional materials.
