English Language Instructor

About the role

SYE English Community is seeking enthusiastic English Language Instructors to join its team in Giza. The position can be full‑time, part‑time or freelance and involves planning and delivering interactive English lessons for groups and individual learners, following SYE’s curriculum and immersive teaching methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the curriculum.
• Facilitate speaking, listening and interactive activities that promote real‑life language use.
• Monitor learner progress, assess needs and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt activities to different proficiency levels and learning styles.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to ensure a supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to the overall positive and engaging community atmosphere.

Required profile

• Strong instructional abilities in English teaching and classroom management.
• Background in education, lesson planning and learner assessment.
• Excellent written and spoken English (near‑native or C1/C2 level).
• Prior experience teaching English to young adults or adults.
• Availability to work evenings or weekends on‑site in Giza.
• Effective communication, active listening and inclusive teaching style.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or related field; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is a plus.
