Exchange Program Specialist – Cairo

About the role

The Exchange Program Specialist will support Amideast’s Scholarship and Exchange Department in administering grants and fee‑for‑service programs, providing scholarship assistance, and delivering up‑to‑date information on the Egyptian educational system to institutional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Work with public and private academic institutions to distribute information about exchange programs.
• Assist the Grants Portfolio Manager and Program Lead in implementing grant programs and handling program details while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate on the development of new exchange program concept papers and proposals aligned with Amideast’s mission for Egypt.
• Contribute to departmental strategic planning, goal setting, and annual budget preparation as required.
• Prepare and submit accurate technical, statistical, and financial reports to partners, donors, and Amideast headquarters.
• Coordinate with Amideast HQ, Amideast/Egypt‑Alexandria, and other field offices.
• Review applications for completeness and eligibility, facilitating the selection of semifinalists.
• Handle logistics for pre‑departure orientations and communicate updates to the alumni database.
• Organize alumni events in partnership with Exchange department staff.
• Provide logistical support for the Study USA College Fair and respond to inquiries from prospective participants.
