Export Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Export Logistics Specialist will oversee the end‑to‑end process of exporting goods from Kandil Glass, ensuring shipments are booked, documented and delivered on time. This role acts as the central point of contact between shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments from booking through final delivery, monitoring vessel schedules and port cut‑off dates.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders and customs brokers to secure bookings and resolve operational issues.
• Prepare, review and validate export documents such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin and Form 13.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Egyptian customs requirements and company policies.
• Track shipment status, proactively address delays, documentation discrepancies and clearance challenges.
• Maintain accurate data entry in ERP systems for visibility and reporting.
• Review and validate freight and logistics invoices before forwarding to Finance.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Planning, Sales and Finance to align shipment schedules and priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in export logistics, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.).
• Solid understanding of export documentation requirements and Egyptian export regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with customs clearance procedures.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities to manage shipment delays and operational challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for data entry and reporting.
