Export Sales Manager – Fresh & Frozen Produce

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Export Sales Manager to drive the growth of our fresh and frozen fruit and vegetable business in European and Asian markets. The role is commercial, target‑driven and requires managing the full export cycle from lead generation to after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute export sales strategies for Europe and Asia.
• Identify and acquire qualified international customers through email, LinkedIn, calls, exhibitions and meetings.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, Incoterms, delivery schedules and contracts.
• Manage the complete export sales cycle, coordinating with production, logistics, finance and quality teams.
• Ensure export documentation (certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, analysis reports) is accurate and timely.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and seasonal demand to adjust strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, commerce, business administration, international trade or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience exporting fresh or frozen fruits and vegetables.
• At least 2 years in a managerial or senior export sales role.
• Proven track record of acquiring international customers and closing export contracts.
• Established professional network of importers, distributors or wholesalers in Europe and/or Asia.
• Strong knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms, payment methods and customs requirements.
