Export Sales Manager

About the role

The Export Sales Manager will lead the growth of export sales for frozen potato products within the Food & Beverages sector. You will be responsible for expanding market presence, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring smooth export operations across assigned international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve export revenue targets through strategic planning and market development.
• Identify, onboard, and grow new distributors and customers.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to optimize pricing and positioning.
• Maintain and develop existing distributor relationships with regular business reviews.
• Supervise export operations from order receipt to shipment, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, monitor rates, and control logistics costs.
• Align production schedules with export demand in partnership with supply‑chain teams.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs and generate leads.
• Collaborate with marketing on region‑specific promotional materials.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pricing reviews, and performance reports.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of export sales experience in FMCG or frozen food manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, Food Science or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cold‑chain logistics, Incoterms (CIF, FOB, EXW) and EU/FDA labeling regulations.
• Familiarity with private‑label programs and export documentation requirements.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, German) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle.
