About the role
ABB is seeking an Export Sales Support Specialist for its Low Voltage Systems (LVS) Export Sales department in Egypt. You will work in a hybrid model, supporting the sales team by preparing competitive bids, estimates, and quotations that meet customer specifications and drive high margins.
Key responsibilities
- Create and finalize bids, estimations, and quotations based on technical and commercial requirements.
- Collect and collate all information needed for proposals, ensuring accuracy of technical and cost elements.
- Prepare well‑documented tenders with full cost breakdowns and trading conditions.
- Provide technical support to sales teams, including guarantee schedules, compliance lists, and scope of supply.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering to address product gaps and ensure correct hand‑over after order award.
- Maintain records of offers, discounts, and tender history while adhering to ABB’s rules and ethics.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1‑3 years of experience in sales support, bid preparation, or design/engineering for low voltage systems.
- Experience creating project bills of material and presenting alternative solutions.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and products.
- Ability to develop accurate technical and financial bid components.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed quotations and tender documentation.
