Export Specialist – Food Flavours

About the role

Great Foods Original is seeking an experienced Export Specialist to manage the export of food flavours, flavour enhancers and related food ingredients to international markets. The role combines sales, customer development and end‑to‑end export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage export sales and operations for food flavours and related products.
• Develop new international customers and expand the company’s presence in export markets.
• Communicate and negotiate with distributors, food manufacturers and B2B customers.
• Handle export inquiries, quotations, orders and customer follow‑ups.
• Oversee the complete export process from order confirmation through shipment and delivery.
• Prepare and review export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents and internal departments.
• Conduct market research to identify new countries, distributors and potential customers, and monitor competitors and market trends.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience exporting food flavours, flavour enhancers or related food ingredients.
• Proven track record in B2B sales to food manufacturers, distributors or ingredient companies.
• Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, shipping and Incoterms.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong negotiation and business development skills.
• Ability to work closely with R&D, quality, production and logistics teams to meet customer requirements.
