Facility Maintenance Manager

About the role

Elsewedy Electric is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of its head office and project sites. You will be responsible for ensuring all building systems operate smoothly while driving cost‑effective maintenance strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement facility maintenance policies, preventive and predictive programs, and standards.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and building infrastructure maintenance.
• Manage service contracts, SLAs, and vendor performance, participating in technical evaluations and procurement.
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify energy‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE regulations, conduct audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness plans.
• Lead the maintenance team, set KPIs, and produce performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management.
• 10–15 years of experience in facility management and maintenance operations.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), PMP, NEBOSH or IOSH.
• Strong leadership and reporting skills.

Required skills

• HVAC, MEP, fire & life safety, and security systems expertise.
• Proficiency with CMMS/CAFM platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Power BI.
• Familiarity with Building Management System (BMS) software.
