Family Medicine Specialist

About the role

CAREHUB is seeking a part‑time Family Medicine Specialist to join its on‑site team in Cairo. The physician will deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered care to individuals of all ages in a home‑based setting, using phone and WhatsApp communication to assess and manage acute and chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct remote consultations via phone calls and WhatsApp, reviewing medical histories and performing clinical assessments.
• Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests and imaging results in accordance with CAREHUB protocols.
• Develop evidence‑based treatment plans and coordinate care transitions with emergency and critical‑care teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to ensure continuity and safety of care.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and contribute to quality‑improvement and infection‑control initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a residency in Family Medicine or a related specialty such as Emergency Medicine, ICU, or Internal Medicine.
• Valid professional licensure in Egypt (or eligibility to obtain it).
• Proven experience delivering holistic primary care across all age groups.
• Strong background in emergency medicine, including rapid assessment and stabilization of critically ill patients.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and multidisciplinary teamwork.
