Field Service & Application Specialist – Sterile Compounding Systems

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Field Service & Application Specialist to support sterile compounding systems in hospital and pharmaceutical environments. The role involves installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and training healthcare professionals on advanced medical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, and validate sterile compounding systems.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Optimize equipment performance and ensure compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, GMP/GDP standards.
• Provide technical training and application support to healthcare staff.
• Deliver clear documentation (IQ, OQ, PQ validation).
• Support system integration, remote assistance, and IT/network configuration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or Biotechnology.
• Minimum 1 year of field service experience in medical devices, hospital equipment, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, calibration, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with SQL basics, LAN/IP configuration, and software‑driven medical devices.
• Clinical awareness of TPN workflows, chemotherapy preparation risks, aseptic techniques, and cleanroom environments.
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
• English proficiency (B2 or higher); additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
