Finance & Accounting Executive

About the role

The Finance & Accounting Executive will manage Live Freight’s financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting records and reliable reporting. This role supports management with financial planning, analysis, and compliance within the freight forwarding and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Record, classify, and reconcile daily financial transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts and manage customer invoicing and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements, handle treasury, banking, and foreign currency transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ensure tax, VAT, and audit compliance.
• Provide management with financial analysis, business insights, and monitor logistics‑related costs such as freight and customs duties.
• Coordinate with HR on payroll, advances, and expense reimbursements.
• Assist sales and operations teams with financial data and contribute to ERP process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting, and tax compliance.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or trading companies is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
