Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will join Cairo Films ME in Zamalek and lead the financial operations for multiple film, television and corporate projects. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and delivering accurate financial reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial reporting for multiple productions and corporate activities.
• Prepare and analyse monthly and project‑based financial statements, monitor cost control and ensure accurate tracking of production expenses and revenues.
• Manage accounting processes, supervise accounts payable and receivable, and coordinate tax and regulatory compliance with external auditors and advisors.
• Partner with production, operations and leadership teams to provide financial insights, support decision‑making and improve financial efficiency and risk management.

Required profile

• Strong financial management and accounting expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and cost control.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, accounting platforms and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, financial reporting standards and compliance requirements for the media and production industry.
• Experience managing cash‑flow, project‑based finances and multi‑currency transactions in a production or similar environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Proven leadership experience supervising finance staff and meeting tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; CPA, CMA or IFRS certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in film, television, media or a related creative industry is highly beneficial.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong plus.
