Finance Manager

About the role

Intrepid Travel is looking for a Finance Manager to lead the Financial, System and Management Accounting functions for its Egypt operations. Working closely with the General Manager and the shared services team in Marrakech, you will ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting and statutory compliance while supporting the company’s mission of sustainable travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial, system and management accounting for Intrepid Egypt.
• Ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting and statutory compliance.
• Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis.
• Partner with regional stakeholders to manage risk and support business decisions.
• Manage and develop a finance team to deliver high‑quality financial services.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline with a CA, CPA, ESAA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial or senior finance experience in Egypt.
• Proven experience leading and guiding a finance team.
• Strong background in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and statutory compliance.
• In‑depth knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and statutory reporting requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) financial software.
