Finance Manager – Oil & Gas Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the financial function of our petroleum services business in Qalyub, Egypt. The role involves overseeing budgeting, reporting, cash management and ensuring compliance with Egyptian tax and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the annual budget and financial plans.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Analyze financial performance and recommend actions to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Manage banking relationships, financing activities and cash management.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and statutory reports.
• Develop and improve financial policies, internal controls and reporting procedures.
• Support senior management with financial analysis, forecasting and strategic decision‑making.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of finance and accounting experience, including 3‑5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience preparing financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Hands‑on experience with tax inspections and interaction with the Egyptian Tax Authority.
• Proven ability to prepare and manage annual budgets and financial planning.
• Good knowledge of social insurance administration and Egyptian tax laws.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing or petroleum services companies is highly preferred.
• Experience in cost control and cash‑flow management is a plus.
