Finance Projects Lead

About the role

EVA Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical company based in Cairo, is looking for a Finance Projects Lead. The role drives finance input and oversight for strategic, cross-functional projects, ensuring financial perspectives are embedded in business decisions. It partners with the CFO to turn complex business discussions into actionable financial insights and guides decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate finance contributions to major initiatives such as new business models, systems and process changes, investments and cost optimization, managing timelines, deliverables and decision points.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models and decision-support tools for revenues, margins, cash flow and project economics.
• Deliver management reporting, dashboards and executive summaries highlighting risks, opportunities and trade-offs.
• Provide finance business partnering to Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and other functions, ensuring financial discipline and challenging assumptions.
• Facilitate clear communication and alignment between finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement and automation of finance processes, tools and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CMA, CPA or ACCA preferred.
• 5-9 years in FP&A or related finance roles, ideally in distribution, FMCG, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and business drivers.
• Knowledge of distribution models, trade economics, pricing, margins and supply chain costs.
• Excellent English communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail, time management and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, ERP and BI tool proficiency.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting and scenario analysis.
