Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will leverage an analytical mindset to examine financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership. This role supports regional operations across Egypt, Lebanon, and Yemen, ensuring financial decisions are data‑driven.

Key responsibilities

• Support Financial Planning & Analysis for Egypt, Lebanon and Yemen operations.
• Assist Finance Management and the Regional Director with cost and revenue initiatives through periodic and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with Regional Heads of Departments on operational plans and cost control.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process, enforce budgetary controls, and monitor performance versus budget.
• Prepare monthly reporting packs, including trial balance reviews.
• Coach accounting trainees to improve day‑to‑day accounting activities.
• Partner with Business Unit leaders to provide timely financial support.
• Liaise with Purchasing, SCM, Operations, and Marketing departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, including at least 2 years as a Financial Analyst.
• Experience in construction, industrial equipment, or electronics sectors is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
