Financial Controller – Hospitality & Restaurant Group

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance operations for a fast‑growing multi‑brand restaurant group based in Sheikh Zayed. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of all financial activities across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the Finance Department, supervising Accounting, Cost Control, Payroll and Asset Management teams.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Monitor food, beverage, packaging and inventory costs, review menu and recipe costing, and analyse gross profit performance.
• Oversee payroll processing, employee benefits accounting and fixed‑asset management.
• Maintain strong internal controls, cash‑flow management, banking activities, accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare management reports on branch performance, profitability, cash flow and working capital.
• Drive finance process improvements, automation and standardisation across all brands.
• Coach and develop high‑performing finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role.
• Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant, retail or FMCG multi‑site environments.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial management systems.
