Financial Manager – Restaurants (10-20 yrs experience)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead the finance function for a restaurant‑focused business. The ideal candidate will bring 10‑20 years of finance leadership within the restaurant sector and will be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insight to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the finance department.
• Monitor, analyze, and model financial data to support decision‑making.
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash‑flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, statutory legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Advise on long‑term business and financial planning.
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients.

Required profile

• 10–20 years of experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in the restaurant industry.
• BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong understanding of business principles, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and multitasking abilities.
