Financial Planning Sr. Analyst

About the role

The Financial Planning Senior Analyst will join the FP&A team at Holcim's head office in Suez, supporting comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, conducting detailed variance analyses, and helping implement financial strategies that drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end closing, reviewing actual results, creating accruals, and ensuring completeness of financial records.
• Support invoice and purchase requisition approvals, aligning allocations with forecasts and budgets.
• Develop and monitor SG&A forecasts and budgets for IT, HR, legal, finance, sales, and marketing functions.
• Analyze SG&A variances, identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Prepare dashboards on people costs, monitor headcount versus budget, and allocate new‑hire costs.
• Contribute to the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for budgeting, forecasting, and medium‑term planning.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses to support profitability assessments, margin optimization, and variance reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Several years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
