Finished Goods Quality Control Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Finished Goods Quality Control Technician to join our fruit processing operations in Obour City. The role will lead and implement quality control procedures to ensure our products meet the highest food safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day quality operations in the finished‑goods area, identify gaps and conduct final product inspections before shipment.
• Inspect shipping vehicles and containers, monitor shipping procedures, verify label data and temperature conditions of batches.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for pallet configurations and packaging types, ensuring compliance with divisional guidelines.
• Collect batch and vehicle photographs, manage retention samples and coordinate micro‑sampling for external laboratory analysis.
• Participate in third‑party certification audits, analyse quality data for continuous improvement and promptly report deviations.
• Support product stability assessments, prepare export samples for customs and assist in updating product technical data sheets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Chemistry or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in food quality control or related industry.
• Good command of English and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel within the region to visit clients.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles.
• Experience developing and applying SOPs.
• Proficiency in quality inspection and micro‑sampling techniques.
• Familiarity with general IT systems for data handling.
