Fixed Assets & Warehouse Officer

About the role

The Fixed Assets & Warehouse Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate records of all company‑owned items, from IT equipment to consumables, ensuring proper tracking, control and accountability across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory and fixed‑asset registers, covering IT hardware, printing supplies, stationery, marketing materials and other assets.
• Oversee receipt, storage, issuance and tracking of materials using manual logs or inventory management systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts, monitor levels and produce monthly inventory reports to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Coordinate disposal of obsolete or damaged assets, including auction administration and compliance with write‑off policies.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, validate received quantities against purchase orders and process vendor invoices.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing team to monitor order status and ensure timely deliveries.
• Administer warehouse key control, documenting issuance and hand‑over for team members.
• Document all processes, create procedure maps and maintain a central repository of asset documentation.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Good organisational skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
• Understanding of asset disposal procedures and compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Familiarity with inventory management systems or manual record‑keeping tools.
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes and invoice handling.
• Ability to produce clear documentation, process maps and guidelines.
