About the role

Join Marriott International as a Food & Beverage Hostess and be the first friendly face guests encounter. You will ensure smooth seating, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and support the dining team in delivering exceptional hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to clean, properly set tables.
• Arrange chairs, place current menus, and verify that each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and any required items.
• Monitor dining room for seating availability, safety, and overall guest well‑being.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Ensure menus are up‑to‑date, clean, and wrinkle‑free.
• Adhere to company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
• Uphold uniform standards, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and assist guests with any inquiries.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Willingness to follow all company policies and safety procedures.
