Food Delivery Logistics Manager

About the role

As a Food Delivery Logistics Manager you will lead the delivery associate network, overseeing fleet management, logistics execution and performance to ensure fast, cost-effective and high-quality deliveries in a high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and train delivery associates, managing shift allocation to optimise fleet availability.
• Monitor KPIs such as delivery time, order fulfilment rate and customer satisfaction, and implement improvement strategies.
• Design incentive programmes to retain high-performing associates while enhancing efficiency.
• Oversee real-time order dispatching, route optimisation and on-ground logistics coordination.
• Collaborate with tech teams to improve fleet tracking, associate app usability and dispatch algorithms.
• Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies, control fleet costs and drive process improvements.
• Develop contingency plans for peak demand, weather disruptions and other operational risks.
• Liaise with external vendors for fleet services, insurance and safety equipment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in last-mile logistics, fleet management or delivery operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to optimisation.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale delivery fleets in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort working under pressure and adapting to dynamic operational challenges.
