About the role
The Forklift Operator will ensure the smooth flow of goods within the IKEA store warehouse at Cairo Festival City. Working closely with the logistics team, you will handle receiving, storing and dispatching merchandise while maintaining high safety and accuracy standards.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming goods safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and pick orders for store supply, ensuring accuracy.
- Operate forklift equipment in accordance with IKEA guidelines and maintain inventory data integrity.
- Support daily action‑plan goals to maximise product availability.
- Adhere to all health, safety and security regulations and assist colleagues in preventing incidents.
- Collaborate with team members across departments and provide assistance when needed.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics processes.
- Familiarity with IKEA brand culture is a plus.
- Strong personal discipline and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Valid forklift operator licence.
- Proficiency in operating forklift machinery.
