Forklift Operator – Warehouse (Cairo Festival City)

About the role

The Forklift Operator ensures efficient and safe handling of goods within the warehouse, supporting the receiving process and guaranteeing accurate, timely stock availability for IKEA stores. You will work closely with the team, follow IKEA’s operational standards, and uphold health, safety, and security measures.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the receiving process with high accuracy and safety.
• Prepare and pick orders for stores while keeping the warehouse secure.
• Apply and develop knowledge of IKEA operations to improve processes.
• Contribute to timely store‑warehouse tasks to maintain high goods availability.
• Follow inventory guidelines to preserve data integrity and maximize product availability.
• Adhere to all IKEA health, safety, and security rules to prevent incidents.
• Support colleagues in the department and other store areas when needed.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and retail logistics.
• Familiarity with IKEA’s brand, culture, and values.
• Valid driving licence for operating forklift machines.
• Ability to prioritize and organise tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and personal discipline.
