Forward Deployed AI Engineer

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to help build and refine its AI‑first operating system that powers Data & AI offerings. The role sits at the intersection of engineering and sales, turning AI‑generated insights into market‑ready proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype and iterate on agent skills and the operating system that automate offer creation.
• Collaborate closely with the VP of AI Engineering to evolve platform architecture, tooling and skill libraries.
• Act as the technical reviewer for AI‑generated research packs, positioning documents and narratives before they reach senior offer owners.
• Ensure that all AI‑produced content is credible, feasible and defensible, serving as the quality gate for rapid automation.
• Gather feedback from offer contributors and integrate improvements back into the system.

Required profile

• Strong engineering background in AI, machine learning, software development or data engineering.
• Proven ability to prototype solutions quickly and provide actionable feedback.
• Excellent technical judgment to assess AI‑generated content.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, iterative environments and collaborating with senior leadership.
