Front-End Tech Lead (React) – SaaS Platform

About the role

Daftra is seeking a Front‑End Tech Lead to drive the architecture and delivery of high‑performance UI components for its cloud‑based SaaS platform. You will own the technical direction of the frontend team, ensuring scalable, maintainable code while collaborating closely with product, backend, and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a robust, scalable frontend architecture using React.js for large‑scale applications.
• Write clean, high‑performance code and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee delivery of frontend features, ensuring quality and timely execution.
• Drive performance optimisation, architectural decisions, and complex UI logic.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and UX/UI teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Own frontend tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering processes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional frontend experience with strong production work in React.js.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring frontend teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and high ownership mindset.
• Ability to balance speed, quality, and long‑term maintainability in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• React.js (Hooks, Context, performance optimisation)
• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• State management libraries (Redux, Zustand, MobX)
• Frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, CI/CD, testing, linting)
• Next.js or server‑side rendering (nice to have)
• Micro‑frontends or modular frontend architectures (nice to have)
• Algorithms & data structures fundamentals
